1st and Bowl is a vibrant entertainment and dining destination located in Wauwatosa, WI. We offer a diverse range of activities, including football bowling, a Nerf arena, indoor pickleball courts, golf simulators, a wiffleball field, a giant basketball connect four, a full-service kitchen, and a lively bar, making us the go-to spot for family fun and social gatherings. We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Hosts to join our team and ensure an outstanding experience for our guests.
Position Summary: Host
As a Host at 1st and Bowl, you will play a crucial role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. You will be the first point of contact for customers, greeting them with a friendly smile, assisting with reserved gameplay, and providing essential information about the 1st and Bowl experience. Your role is vital in setting the tone for an enjoyable visit!
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, offering a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and party arrivals to optimize gaming turnover and guest satisfaction.
- Provide accurate information about our services, specials, and activities.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the host area and gaming areas.
- Communicate effectively with other team members, including bartenders and kitchen staff, to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with a positive and helpful attitude.
Qualifications
- Friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required; we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
